The breaking point
Two hours.
Just unpacking.
On one particular trip — five kids, summer holiday, hotel room in the sun — we spent the first two hours doing nothing but unpacking. Bags out, things everywhere, everyone asking questions we could not answer because we could not find anything either. The kids were restless. We were already exhausted. The holiday had not started yet.
We remember sitting on that hotel floor thinking: someone must have solved this. We went looking. Nothing worked for a family. So we decided that if it did not exist, we were going to build it ourselves.
The problem
Seven of us.
Every trip a disaster.
Packing should feel like the holiday starting. For us — a family of seven, five kids aged from toddler to teenager — it felt like the opposite every single time. Suitcases exploding open on arrival. Clothes on every surface within minutes. Someone always asking "where is my thing?" before we'd even found the hotel kettle.
We tried everything the market offered. Packing cubes just moved the chaos into smaller boxes. Hanging organisers collapsed or didn't fit in suitcases. Bags inside bags meant you still had to rummage. Nothing was genuinely designed for how families actually travel.
We were organised people. The problem was structural, not personal. So we decided to solve it structurally.
The solution
We tried everything.
Then built our own.
The kitchen table became the design studio. The kids were involved from day one — they were the harshest critics and the most useful testers. We went through sketch after sketch, prototype after prototype. The slides above show exactly what that looked like.
The breakthrough that changed the whole product: the organiser needed to fold completely flat inside the suitcase with the clothes already packed inside it. Not as a separate packing step — as the primary method. Pack at home, fold flat, arrive and hang up. One motion. No unpacking.
The LAUNDRY section came later — from a specific holiday frustration where by day four, clean and worn had completely mixed. We built a dedicated section into the reverse. Nobody else had done it. Once we had it, we could not imagine travelling without it.
